Kelp forests thrive beneath the ocean’s surface. They are beautiful, flowing forests exisitng under the ocean waves. Our Kelp Forest pendants and necklaces capture the elegant poise of these seemingly otherworldly beings in magnificent detail.
Pendants are hand sculpted by Jill using professional grade polymer clay and then set in sterling silver. Every piece is one-of-a-kind wearable art representing the culture and bio-diversity of Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast.
Kelp Forest pendants are circle-shaped and available in two size options: medium and large. The Kelp Forest design is part of Jill’s “The Ocean As Inspiration” collection; a collection inspired by the ocean’s creatures and wild fauna. Each design features an ivory-white, textured sculpture that is set on an inky-black background.
Kelp forests provide haven and refuge for underwater wildlife. Their gifts to fellow ocean dwellers mirror those provided to us by our surrounding forests. The Kelp Forest pendants represent a botanical illustration of the floating bull kelp using pale ivory professional-grade polymer clay.
Kelp Forest pendants can be purchased online or through select retailers.
The Ocean As Inspiration collection was created by Jill in 2020. To view the six other designs in this collection, click here.
