The fanciful flight of the tiny humming bird captivates Vancouver Island gardeners each year. Our Humming Birds design inspires those same feelings of delight and intrigue experienced upon seeing the migratory hummingbirds return in spring.
They are made at Jill’s private studio in Sooke, BC. These designs are set in sterling silver; they are hypoallergenic. These beautiful hummingbird earrings are unique and one a kind creations.
This design is part of our “The Birds and the Bees” collection. Each design is set on an inky-black background, and ivory-white clay is used to create realistic sculptures.
Hummingbirds are fiercely independent creatures who traditionally symbolize beauty and connections to loved ones who have passed. On Vancouver Island, these revered birds are needed to help pollinate the plants and berries our bears and wildlife need to survive.
